Biography
Intro
Shauma Brown was born in Okinawa, Japan but raised in Clovis, NM. She previously taught courses in transitional studies part-time before becoming a full-time instructor. She enjoys teaching because it allows her to share her love of language and structure with her students. Although she loves teaching composition and seeing her students excel, linguistics is where she finds the most comfort. She is happy to be a member of the CCC faculty for this academic year (but she is especially proud of her sentence diagramming skills).
