Recently Graduated High School or HSE Students



Checklist:

Make sure to have this completed 3 - 4 weeks before the semester starts!

  • Call your high school and have them send us your official high school transcripts to admissions@clovis.edu.
  • HSE Students, go to Diploma Sender to request your official HSE transcripts.
  • Send any official college transcripts you might have to admissions@clovis.edu.

Pathway Scholarship

Application Deadline: None

Amount: Pays for all Tuition

Criteria: Must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours (full-time). Must be a NM High School Graduate or HSE recipient (graduation date must have been within the previous 12 months of current date).

Maintaining Your Scholarship: Must pass 12 credit hours with passing grades and maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA.

 *If a student drops below the 12 credit hours by the end of the semester, the student will lose eligibility for the Pathway Scholarship, including eligibility for the NM State Lottery Scholarship and the NM Opportunity Scholarship.

 

NM Legislative Lottery Scholarship

Application Deadline: None

Amount: Pays for all Tuition

Criteria: Must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours (full-time) or more. Must have graduated from an accredited high school in New Mexico or earned a high school equivalency (HSE) credential in New Mexico. Must enroll full-time at a public post-secondary educational institution in New Mexico within sixteen months of high school graduation.

Maintaining Your Scholarship: Must maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA and enroll in 12 credit hours each fall and spring semester continuously (summer is optional). 

 

NM Opportunity Scholarship

Application Deadline: None

Amount: Covers any gap in tuition and fees owed by a student after other forms of state aid have been applied. It can potentially cover up to 100% of a student’s tuition and fees.

Criteria: Must be a New Mexico high school graduate. Must Enroll and earn 6 credit hours for spring and fall semesters. Must be working towards an associate's degree. Must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA. Can not currently have a bachelor’s or an associate's degree* 

Maintaining Your Scholarship: Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5. Must enroll and earn at least 6 credit hours every fall and spring semester continuously (summer is optional).

*Student can only receive scholarship at a community college up to 90 attempted credit hours.

*Students can transfer scholarship to 4-year New Mexico state university if eligibility is maintained.
