Scholarships/Grants for NM Residents and Non-Residents

NM Legislative Lottery Scholarship

The New Mexico Lottery Scholarship is for students who are New Mexico residents who have obtained a high school diploma or a high school equivalency credential in New Mexico, who immediately begins attendance in an eligible college or university in New Mexico.


AcademicWorks is an easy-to-use system that allows students to apply for multiple scholarships offered by CCC with one convenient process. Students must submit a FAFSA to be eligible. After filling out an AcademicWorks application, students are automatically matched to available scholarships for review.  For additional information, contact the financial aid office at 575-769-4060.

These scholarships are available through a separate application process from a variety of sources. This list is updated a few times each year, so be sure to check back each semester.

CCC Child Care Assistance Fund

Through a generous private donation, CCC has implemented the Child Care Assistance Fund. In order to receive assistance in paying for child care, the student must fill out an application and will be evaluated every semester. Please review the policies and procedures of the fund before submitting the application. Questions may be directed to Stacy Chavez (Scholarship Specialist) in the Financial Aid Office.
