Our goal in the Academic Advising Office is to assist our students in successfully completing their academic goals. Our students are assigned an Academic Advisor specialized in their field of studies, for guidance in selecting the best path in completing their Degree and/or Certificate. I am Director of the Academic Advising office here at CCC and my staff and I look forward to helping you achieve your educational goals. I am from Hereford, Texas and came to New Mexico to play football for Eastern New Mexico University. I received both my Bachelor's and Master’s degrees from ENMU and received my Doctorate degree at New Mexico State University. I am also a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of New Mexico. I am the academic advisor for the Behavioral Science and Health and Physical Education degrees. I teach Psychology here at CCC, as a part-time instructor. I look forward to seeing you and helping in any way I can through your educational journey.

I am the Academic Advising Coordinator and the academic advisor for all of the allied health programs here at Clovis Community College. These programs include Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant, Emergency Medical Services, Phlebotomy, and Health Care Assistant.  I have been with Clovis Community College since September 2001. I am originally from Petersburg, Texas. I received my master's and bachelor's degrees from Texas Tech University and my associate's degree from South Plains College. I am the Academic Advisor for Occupational Technology Programs as well as Transitional Programs here at Clovis Community College. I advise Automotive Technology, Cosmetology, Esthetics/Nail Technician, Industrial Technology and Welding majors as well as students working to develop their academic skills for access to college level coursework. I grew up here in Clovis and went on to attend college at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to returning to Clovis, I gained 15 years of experience in higher education ranging from administration, college admissions and transfer articulation to academic advising. Whether you have questions about one of our Occupational Technology Programs and how they might best work for you, or if you’re brushing up on your reading, writing, or math in preparation for future studies, I look forward to working with you.

In addition to serving as the Student Resources Coordinator, I am the Academic Advisor for the Paralegal, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, and Early Childhood Education degrees. I am an alumnus of The University of Alabama, with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I taught high school for three years in Alabama and was previously a Student Success Navigator in Florida. I love helping students navigate the complexities of higher education and can’t wait to work with you.

I am the Special Services Coordinator/Counselor for CCC. I am originally from the Midwest and came to Clovis, New Mexico as an Air Force dependent almost twenty years ago. I look forward to helping you navigate your college journey whether it is for the two-year program, Certificate of Achievement, Certificate of Completion, or preparing to transfer to a four-year school to earn your Bachelors degree. I earned my Bachelor of University Studies from Eastern New Mexico University and my Masters of Social Work degree from New Mexico Highlands University. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for the state of New Mexico.  I am the academic advisor for Fine Arts, Graphic Design/Media Art, and Computer Information System/Information Technology.
