Our goal in the Academic Advising Office is to assist our students in successfully completing their academic goals. Our students are assigned an Academic Advisor specialized in their field of studies, for guidance in selecting the best path in completing their Degree and/or Certificate. I am the Director of Academic Advising and the academic advisor for all of the allied health programs, as well as the Biology degree here at Clovis Community College. The Allied Health programs include Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant, Emergency Medical Services, Phlebotomy, and Nursing Assistant.  If you are interested in any of these exciting allied health programs, or a degree in Biology, please contact me and I will be happy to help you with whatever questions you may have.

I have been with Clovis Community College since September 2001. I am originally from Petersburg, Texas. I received my master's and bachelor's degrees from Texas Tech University and my associate's degree from South Plains College. I am the Office Of Accessibility and Resources/Counselor/Advisor for CCC. I am originally from the Midwest and came to Clovis, New Mexico as an Air Force dependent almost twenty years ago. I look forward to helping you navigate your college journey whether it is for the two-year program, Certificate of Achievement, Certificate of Completion, or preparing to transfer to a four-year school to earn your Bachelors degree. I earned my Bachelor of University Studies from Eastern New Mexico University and my Masters of Social Work degree from New Mexico Highlands University. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for the state of New Mexico.  I am the academic advisor for Fine Arts, Graphic Design/Media Art, and Computer Information System/Information Technology.

I am the Starfish Manager at Clovis Community College. Starfish, our student retention software, helps communicate student needs to the college by utilizing an Early Alert system, data reporting, and Student Services features. It is an excellent tool to help serve the mission of CCC and I am honored to oversee its operations. Originally from Kentucky, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spalding University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Louisville. I have been working at CCC for a couple of years now, having started at Admissions. After working in Recruitment, I moved on to articulating transcripts and serving as the CAFB Representative. College has always been my second home and I am so glad I can help share my love of education with this community.
