International Students

Clovis Community College offers two-year degree options for International students seeking to come to the United States for study under an F-1 Student Visa. For a complete list of degree and program options: https://clovis.edu/programs/. 

Application and Supporting Documentation Deadlines for International Students:

  • Fall: 15 Apr
  • Spring: 15 Sep

Clovis Community College is proud to announce that we will begin accepting international students for the Spring 2024 term. The steps to complete are:

1. Complete PDF application and send to smithka@clovis.edu with a copy of your current passport photo page and the International Supplemental Information form

2. Once you receive your acceptance letter via email, pay $100 application fee. 

3. Submit the following documents for review:

  • Certification of Financial Responsibility
  • Verification of English proficiency
    • TOEFL minimum score of 61, IELTS minimum score of 6.0, CEFR minimum score of B2 or Duolingo minimum score of 90 or
    • Student has completed at least 15 hours of college-level work at another US college or university, including at least one semester of college-level English composition with a grade of “C” or better
  • Official high school transcripts/credentials
    • Admission to CCC requires that applicants demonstrate proof of completion of a level of education that is equal to or higher than a U.S. high school diploma.
    • Official original English translation of secondary/high school credentials/transcript with graduation date sent directly to:

  • Proof of health/medical insurance coverage
    • Proof of health insurance beginning on date of travel

 

Students that are enrolled on the F-1 Visa must:

  • Enroll at Clovis Community College full-time (12 hours or more per semester)
  • Be degree-seeking with a valid degree plan on file with Academic Advising
