Clovis Community College Hosts In- Person Open House Event

On Monday, June 28, 2021, Clovis Community College will host an Open House for individuals interested in attending the College. The event will take place from 5 – 7:30 p.m. in the Foyer of the Main Building and will follow COVID-safe protocols based on the current public health order.  The first 100 prospective students to complete an admissions application and check in on social media at the event will receive a free Clovis Community College t-shirt. Food vouchers will be provided for one entrée and a drink per person courtesy of Sweet Waters.  This is a family- friendly event with activities that everyone will enjoy.

During the event, prospective students can learn about available programs, meet CCC faculty and staff, apply for admission to the College, tour the campus, and more. Financial aid representatives will also answer questions and help attendees complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

“Throughout the evening, prospective students and their families can visit with CCC faculty, staff, and current students. This is a great opportunity for individuals to learn what CCC has to offer Eastern New Mexico and see what makes CCC one of the best educations you can afford,” said Dr. Marcus Smith, Director of Counseling and Academic Advising.

Each program will offer demonstrations to help attendees understand what they can learn when enrolled at the College. Available programs include Business Administration, Industrial Technology, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, EMS, Physical Therapist Assistant, Early Childhood Education, Alternative Licensure Programs, and much more, said Dr. Robin Kuykendall, AVP Enrollment Management and Student Affairs.

New Mexico Department of Health will be at the event to provide COVID19 vaccinations to all adults and children ages 16 and over.
