TRIO Student Support Services is a federally funded educational opportunity outreach program designed to motivate, retain, graduate, and transfer eligible students.

Becoming a TRIO SSS participant means greater likelihood of success in achieving your academic goals, specifically for graduating students and transfer students. Apply now to determine your eligibility! If you are under 18, please do not continue with the online application.  Stop by the TRIO office at CCC in Room 142 to pick up a hard copy of the application.

To qualify, students must demonstrate academic need and meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • First generation - neither parent has earned a four-year degree
  • Low Income - must meet federal guidelines
  • Disabled - must be registered with CCC Office of Accessibility and Resources

Services offered to TRIO SSS Students:

  • Academic Advising, Monitoring, & Support
  • Private TRIO SSS Computer Lab & Secluded Study Area
  • Loan-Out Program: Laptop, Calculator, Headsets, Earphone, Web Cam
  • Assigned Peer Mentoring
  • Financial Literacy & Academic Workshops
  • Grant Aid ($50,000 awarded per academic year)
  • Visits to four-year college campuses
  • Free tickets to cultural activities
  • Unlimited Online Tutoring
