Training in phlebotomy offers students an opportunity to experience employment in the healthcare industry. Phlebotomists are certified medical technicians who specialize in drawing blood from patients for testing.
The brand new Certificate of Completion in Phlebotomy from Clovis Community College trains students for working as a phlebotomist in the healthcare field.

Students must complete the accuplacer in the Testing Center prior to registering. Students are required to register concurrently for all four of the Phlebotomy courses
listed above.
Fifteen semester hours toward degree or certificate must be completed at CCC with
a 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
