CPR Certification

CPR Certification

The purpose of the courses in the First Aid/CPR/AED program is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. CPR classes teach students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in order to help keep people safe until more advanced medical care is available. CPR certification can help prevent brain damage and death by ensuring oxygenated blood continues to circulate throughout the body.

  • The CPR Class will be held on Saturday October 26, 2024, from  8am - 12pm in the Allied Health Skills Lab Room # 939 and is an in-person training. This course is open to all community members needing to obtain a CPR certification.
  • The cost of the CPR course is $40 per person. Students will receive a digital CPR card within 1-2 weeks after the course completion.
