OSHA 10, Traffic Control, and Flagger Training
This comprehensive 4-day hybrid training program equips participants with essential safety knowledge and hands-on skills for roadway work zones and construction environments. The course includes OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety, Traffic Control, and Flagger Certification components—ensuring compliance with both state and federal safety standards.
Hybrid Delivery: 3 days online, 1 day in-person
In-Person Session: Hands-on training and skills assessment for flagger certification
Participants will gain knowledge and skills in:
OSHA 10-Hour Construction safety standards and worker rights
Safe practices for identifying and controlling workplace hazards
Principles of temporary traffic control and work zone setup
Proper flagging techniques, communication, and safety procedures
This training is ideal for:
Individuals entering the construction, public works, or transportation industries
Employers seeking to certify employees in compliance with OSHA and New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) requirements
Participants who successfully complete all components will receive:
OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Card
Traffic Control and Flagger Certification (valid per state standards)
4 days (hybrid format)
Enrollment is open to individuals 18 years and older. Early registration is recommended due to limited seating for the in-person session.
Funding: Financial assistance is available to New Mexico residents who have lived in the state for one year or more. Eligible participants may receive funding to help offset the cost of the class.
