EMS Instructor Training

Clovis Community College offers an EMS Instructor Training Course designed for licensed New Mexico EMS professionals interested in becoming certified instructors.

This hybrid program combines online instruction via Zoom with three in-person sessions scheduled for:

  • February 11, 2026

  • February 25, 2026

  • March 11, 2026

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Participants must hold a current New Mexico EMS license.

  • After completing all instructor requirements, participants must maintain certification by completing 12 hours of approved Continuing Education every two years.

Program Benefits:

Upon successful completion, graduates will be recognized by Clovis Community College and will meet the standards recognized by NM JOE. Certified instructors will be eligible to affiliate with CCC and teach future EMS courses within the program.

Registration:

Students are responsible for a $50 Continuing Education Application fee. New Mexico residents who have lived in the state for one year or more may be grant funded for the remaining $800 of the course cost.
