Prometric ASE Certification Exams

Clovis Community College is authorized ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Testing Center.

 The ASE certification program is designed to promote excellence in vehicle repair, service, and parts distribution, and it is held by over a quarter-million professionals. This program is aimed at students who wish to become ASE-certified automotive maintenance and repair technicians.

Registration:

To take the ASE exams, candidates must first register online at www.ase.com or by phone at (800)-390-6789. They will be provided with an ASE ID/Eligibility number (for example, ASE-1234-0000).

Scheduling:

After registering and paying for the exam (paid directly to ASE), candidates should contact the CCC Testing Center by phone (575)-769-4125, email testing@clovis.edu, or in person in Room 109 to schedule the exam(s).

Candidates will be asked to provide the following information:

• Name
• ASE Eligibility Number (for example, ASE-1234-0000).
• Contact Phone Number
• Email
• Exam(s) to be taken.
• Preferred Date and Time

A photo ID is required to test.

 Acceptable forms of photo identification include -

• Current driver's license
• State approved ID
• Current state or federal ID card
• Current passport or passport card
• Tribal ID card
• Naturalization card
